Please send us an email to start the process whether to purchase or to tran-ship, before we can provide you with the current stock list as well as answer all questions before an order is placed.
Shipments of live fish will be sent to your local airport or delivered to your door if you're within a certain mile radius. We will not be able to provide approximate shipping cost until we know where your nearest major airport is along with when shipping will take place.
After your order is processed, pending if it’s stock or needs to be imported will determine the timeline in you receiving your order.
If it’s something we already have in stock, then we ship once a week and will be in contact via email letting you know when it will arrive at your local airport.
If it needs to be imported, then the process will take longer but upon arrival will follow the same protocol with notifying you on when it will arrive to your local airport.
You will also receive all other important information regarding your shipment such as flight information and shipment payment will be made directly to the airline when you pick up your order.
Lead times can fluctuate and are dependent on where fish originate from, as the incoming flights may arrive on different days. Due to this, ship days may vary. We place our order several days in advance of the incoming shipments, therefore, if your order comes in after our ordering day, your order will more than likely arrive with the subsequent incoming shipment, which can be a week+ later. Airline delays or mishandling can occur, which we unfortunately have no control over and cannot be held 100% responsible.
Ordering aquarium fish, especially when it involves international imports, can be an exciting yet unpredictable process. It's crucial to understand that there might be shipping delays due to a variety of factors, such as flight issues, customs regulations, and the availability of specific fish. However, we strive to ensure timely delivery and provide appropriate solutions in case of unavailability. Here's a guide on how to navigate the ordering process and address any potential challenges:
Explore the available selection of fish provided. Take note of the species you're interested in, their compatibility with your existing tank inhabitants, and any specific requirements for their care.
Place Your Order per the provided list we have sent. Provide the list of the fish you wish to purchase, specifying the quantity and any specific variations (such as color or pattern).
Understand Shipping Delays: Bear in mind that shipping delays are possible due to various factors beyond our control. Flights may be rescheduled or canceled, customs inspections could take longer than expected, or there might be unexpected issues related to weather or other logistical challenges. Acknowledging and being prepared for these possibilities will help manage your expectations.
Be Flexible: Understand that the availability of individual fish can change rapidly due to factors like demand, seasonal variations, or difficulties in sourcing them from specific regions. If certain fish become unavailable, trust we will handle it professionally. We may offer suitable alternatives, refunds, or credits for future purchases.
Patience and Understanding: Patience is key when ordering imported aquarium fish. Recognize that the process involves meticulous planning, coordination, and adherence to regulations to ensure the health and safety of the fish involved. Appreciate that any unexpected delays or changes in availability are beyond the seller's control. Maintain a constructive and understanding attitude throughout the process.
